ACR APPLICATIONS
TECTUBE®_cips
HME brand for tubes designed for the installation of ACR components and the distribution of industrial and laboratory gases.
It is a preferred product for piping, construction and connection of cooling units. This tube features a smooth, clean and dry inside surface. It surpasses the corresponding requirements of EN 12735-1 (seamless copper tubes for ACR technology; tubes for piping systems) as well as ASTM B 280.
These two international specifications for seamless copper connection tubes for ACR technology require that the maximum allowable contamination on the inside surface of the tube (measured as carbon content) may not be higher than 38 mg/m2. To ensure inner cleanliness until the time the tubes are installed, each tube is firmly closed at both ends with end caps or plugs. To guarantee traceability as required in the EU Pressure Equipment Directive PED 97/23/EC, the exact manufacturing date, the dimensions of the tube and other information are engraved on each tube. The tube can be supplied as coil, pancake coil or straight lengths.

TECTUBE®_cips HP 120
Cost-effective solution for ecofriendly cooling!
These copper tubes are specially designed for connecting pipes in CO2 refrigerant cooling circuits of working pressure max. 120 bar.
In special cooling applications like supermarket refrigeration systems a new era has begun. Due to environmental guidelines getting stricter, a number of established refrigerants are being replaced by more ecofriendly solutions. Carbon dioxide (CO2 R744) is commonly regarded as an optimal refrigerant.
TECTUBE®_cips hp120 further benefit is cost-saving: while common copper tube materials need a higher wall thickness to handle high pressure rates, the high-strength HME CL12 offers pressure stability up to 120 bar with a much lower wall thickness, therefore at lower material weight and consequently at lower prices.
TECTUBE®_cips hp120 tubes are available in big bundles for easy wholesale handling, whereby every big bundle contains individually packed ready-for-sale small bundles of 2 to 22 tubes, depending on the tube diameter.
HME always keeps an adequate permanent stock of most-used tube sizes of CL12. This stock is used to support wholesalers of ACR components which are well-known partners of ACR installers and ACR construction companies.
TECTUBE®_fin
The TECTUBE®_fin range is used for condensation or evaporation in the air conditioning and refrigeration industry.
HME developed TECTUBE®_fin as a seamless copper tube with an exceptional groove structure on the inside surface of the tube. It is specially designed for the production of highly performing components (like evaporators and condensers) in the air condition and refrigeration industry. TECTUBE®_fin is supplied in level wound coils with a large range of weights and sizes.

It is a seamlessly drawn copper tube with smooth and dry inner surface, designed to meet the requirements of the air conditioning and refrigeration systems. HME supplies TECTUBE®_clim mainly as level wound coils.

TECTUBE®_flow

HME produces TECTUBE®_flow for refrigeration and air conditioning systems and for measuring technology. These precisely manufactured and clean tubes are tested for accurate flow volumes. OTHER APPLICATIONS
TECTUBE®_med
Tube designed for medical gas supply equipment and vacuum installations.
This tube features a smooth, dry and particularly clean internal surface. It surpasses the corresponding requirements of EN 13348 (seamless copper tubes for medical gases and vacuum).
This specification requires, among other things, that the maximum allowable contamination of the tube’s internal surface (measured as carbon content) may not exceed 20 mg/m2.
TECTUBE®_med tubes are suitable for medical gas distribution systems according to EN 737-3. Each tube is closed at both ends to ensure that the inner surface remains clean until the moment the tubes are installed.
To guarantee traceability in compliance with the EU Pressure Equipment Directive PED 97/23/EC, the exact manufacturing date, the dimension of the tube and other information are permanently engraved on each tube.
