Nel quadro di questa ambiziosa iniziativa, sosteniamo la continua riduzione del piombo. Le leghe conosciute saranno sostituite progressivamente da soluzioni a contenuto di piombo costantemente decrescente, in modo da mantenere inalterata la riciclabilità dell’ottone. Nel giro di pochi anni, il contenuto del piombo nelle leghe di ottone sarà ridotto del 70%; questo obiettivo sarà conseguito senza inficiare la capacità della nostra industria di riciclare e lavorare leghe di rame con competitività.

L'industria della lavorazione dell'ottone tornerà ad avere un ambiente economico predittivo in termini di limiti normativi e investimenti.

SHK Essen/Germany 6.-9. September 2022

406 exhibitors and approximately 24,000 visitors were counted during the 4 days of the fair. HME had - as in previous years - a very well placed booth in hall 1.0. Our aim was to present our trademark copper tube SANCO® as a brand of HME. This was very successful due to the exposed position of the booth in the entrance area of the hall. The eye-catching and modern design of the booth was noticed and commented very positively by our visitors. We placed a special focus on our premium tube SANCO® in connection with the topics of sustainability and environmental friendliness of copper as a material. In addition to numerous visitors from the planning, trade and retail sectors, an initiative of the SHK Fachverband NRW (Professional Association Sanitary Heating Climate North Rhine Westphalia) brought around 2,000 trainees to our stand, with whom we talked in detail about the aforementioned topics. These young people are our customers of tomorrow. 

All in all, we can say that our presence at SHK was a good decision. Even though the trade fair business has suffered a lot due to the pandemic, it was important to connect our still young company with the trademark SANCO® copper tube which is known for decades.

HAILIANG METAL EUROPE ACQUISTA UNA DELLE PIU’ GRANDI COLATE CONTINUE ORIZZONTALI AL MONDO PER BILLETTE IN OTTONE

HME ha effettuato un ordine presso il gruppo SMS per l’acquisizione di una colata continua orizzontale a quattro fili per billette di ottone. La nuova colata, una delle più grandi al mondo per le leghe di rame, sostituirà quella verticale semicontinua esistente presso lo stabilimento di Serravalle Scrivia di HME Brass Italy. Con questa nuova installazione, la fabbrica italiana di barre di ottone intende raggiungere una elevata qualità del prodotto e aumentare significativamente la propria produttività per poter soddisfare le crescenti richieste del mercato Europeo.

La nuova linea di produzione a quattro fili produrrà billette in ottone con un diametro di 245 e 400 mm per la produzione di barre mediante estrusione e successiva trafilatura.

Il pacchetto base di digitalizzazione composto da SMS-Metrics (acquisizione dati di processo) e Smart Alarm (monitoraggio guasti impianto) consentirà di aumentare la trasparenza dei processi, di migliorare la disponibilità degli impianti e di ridurre al minimo i costi di manutenzione.

SMS-Metrics consentirà la visualizzazione e la valutazione dei parametri di processo e di impianto mentre Smart Alarm offrirà una panoramica avanzata e un migliore controllo dei messaggi di errore e semplificherà il processo di analisi delle notifiche di sistema.

La nuova colata continua entrerà in funzione prima metà del 2023.

European Tour of the Zhejiang Hailiang Management Team in May 2019

Last May, Mr. Zhu Zhangquan, Chairman and CEO of Zhejiang Hailiang, accompanied by the local management, visited HME's 5 production sites in Europe. The trip took the group to the former KME plants in Berlin and Menden/Germany, Serravalle S./Italy, Boisthorel/France and Barcelona/Spain.

In Berlin at the HME European Headquarter, Chairman Zhu and the European Management unveiled the HME logo in front of hundreds of employees. This act symbolized the beginning of a new chapter in the success story of the Hailiang Group and an important step in its global strategic orientation now also in Europe.

At all HME factories, Chairman Zhu spoke about Hailiangs Vision and Strategy to the workers and the unions. Hailiang is an industrial group that is focused on copper and brass semi-products, tubes and bars, for 30 years. In 2018, production and sales reached 700,000 ton, generating a turnover of 5.5 billion Euros with an annual net profit of about 120 million Euros.
Chairman Zhu stressed that Hailiang is a worldwide leader in copper and brass processing and that Europe is regarded as one of the core markets. Hailiang is therefore pleased to take over these production facilities with KME's professional and experienced staff.

Chairman Zhu welcomed the new members of the "Hailiang Family" and expressed his hope for a good future cooperation. Our common aim is to fully use resources to offer high quality products and services, and achieve better returns. Zhejiang Hailiang will in the future create high quality employment opportunities with high benefits for both the company and its employees.

Zhu's speech pointed out the direction for the future development of the factories and he also encouraged and inspired all participants to take great responsibility. A business improvement plan was presented for each factory. Furthermore, the situation of the European brass and copper processing market was discussed and analyzed with the team members and experiences were exchanged with the management teams of the individual European plants. All will work together to achieve Hailiang's strategic goal for 2025. Hailiang will create the necessary conditions in terms of recourses, distribution channels, technology and management with the aim of improving overall international competitiveness and increasing global market share and thus one day becoming an international giant in the field of smart manufacturing of non-ferrous metals.
