MANUFACTURING PROGRAMS
FOR MANY YEARS NOW WE HAVE BEEN CONVERTING PRODUCTION PROCESSES WITH OUR CUSTOMERS FROM TRADITIONAL STRAIGHT LENGTHS USE TO LWC COILS TO INTRODUCE A MORE EFFICIENT PRODUCTION.
Our tube coils weight between 90 kg and 600 kg and are the main references worldwide.
LEVEL WOUND COILS
A level wound coil (LWC) is a continuous length of tube tightly wound in layers. The level wound coiled tube with a unitary weight of 90 – 600 kg represents for industrial customers the best option for cost efficient production, logistics and transport.
LWC are available as bare coils, bare coils on cardboard reels or as Jumbo Coils.
For the creation of new articles the direction of uncoiling must be specified. The direction of uncoiling can be:
- Clockwise (standard). When the coil is in a horizontal position, the tube ending in the inner layer of the coil is at the bottom.

- Anti-clockwise (optional). When the coil is in a horizontal position, the tube ending in the inner layer of the coil is at the top.

STRAIGHT LENGTHS
Straight length tubes have been mechanically straightened and then cut to specific lengths as specified by the customer.
HME’s copper tubes in straight lengths are specially developed for manufacturing of fittings. HME has developed a strong cooperation activity and partnerships with the biggest European companies in the sector in order to ensure excellent product quality.
COILS
We produce other types of coil which are shorter than LWC or with other characteristics to satisfy different processing requirements.
CAPILLARY TUBE
The HME capillary tubes have proven themselves in measurement and control technology all over the world. Copper capillary tubes (see TECTUBE®_flow) are used for various applications, such as: cooling units, air conditioning, heat exchangers and boilers, measurement and control systems. They are available as LWC, straight lengths or wound onto plastic reels.
